Multi-instrumentalist award winners Mairearad Green (accordion and smallpipes) and Anna Massie (guitar, banjo, fiddle) are a captivating duo who provide a highly energetic performance. Individually, they can be seen performing with The Poozies, Blazin’ Fiddles, Karen Matheson, Bella Hardy, Box Club and Eddi Reader, and together in Scotland’s one and only Celtic big band, The Unusual Suspects. Mairearad and Anna share an innate understanding of Scottish music and having played together for eight years they have an intuitive approach to each other’s musical ideas and interpretations.
