Aquarium, led by pianist/composer Sam Leak, features BBC Jazz Award winners James Allsopp (Saxophone) and Josh Blackmore (Drums) alongside Mercury Award nominated bassist Calum Gourlay. Their forthcoming album has already been hailed by John Taylor as "A fine achievement" and Phil Robson as "A strong and melodic debut”. Sam was mentioned in the "People to look out for in 2010" section in Jazzwise in December 2009, as well as appearing on the cover-mounted CD in the same issue.
