Chamber
Chamber is a new acoustic project by guitarist/composer Nick Tyson. Featuring members of The Leisure Society, Gilad Atzmon’s Orient House Ensemble, Gentleman’s Dub Club and If Destroyed Still True (to name a few) this eclectic line up is moulded by Tyson’s writing to create captivating and thoughtful music.
Exploring influences from classical chamber, folk and middle eastern traditions, the music moves seamlessly through richly textured soundscapes, melodic string passages, intricate grooves, stripped back minimalism and full-on solos, all combining to create an exciting new voice for british jazz.
Chamber has received a PRSF New Works award, and is commissioned by the influential London based F-IRE Collective.
