Singer-songwriter Emily Baker is a passionate and honest storyteller with flashes of eccentric chat between songs, taking a slice of real life and serving it up with a melody. Emily released her debut album House of Cards to critical applause in 2011, touring with Chris Difford, Beth Rowley, Amy Wadge, Jon Allen and Gabriella Cilmi. Schoolmate Pete Doherty cited her as the person who first influenced him to pick up a guitar and she supported him at Bournemouth Opera House and the Hackney Empire. With new songs to share and a new chapter to start, Emily is thrilled to be invited to play at The Stables.
