Darius Brubeck was, until 2006, the internationally known Director of the Centre for Jazz and Popular Music (Durban, South Africa). He now travels between Europe and the USA and his performance repertoire includes original compositions, standard jazz and South African music.  The band recently recorded "For Lydia and the Lion", which was reviewed in BBC Music Magazine.

In 2007 Paul Greenwood joined the Jazz Funk band Incognito playing tenor sax, alto sax and flute and has  played  at major jazz festivals throughout the world.  As a student he was a featured member of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra and has performed with numerous artists including Paul Weller, Josh Ritter, Dean Parrish and The London Jazz orchestra.

While a student at Trinity College, London, Matt Ridley won many performance prizes and played in numerous bands, including the UK National Youth Jazz orchestra.  He is now much in demand as a free lance musician in London.

South African Wesley Gibbens (based in London) plays with a number of mainstream jazz and African music groups and frequently records as a session musician.  He has also written music for TV and commercial recordings.

In July and August 2009 the band played to full houses at various UK venues, ranging from the “Ignite” venue at the Royal Albert Hall to the Marlborough Jazz Festival and Darius also featured a band that included his brother Dan at Ronnie Scott’s famous jazz club.
