Laish are a playful, literate, folk-infused pop band, formed from the prolific songwriting, unique voice and intricate guitar work of Daniel Green. Fiercely independent and working with the Willkommen Records label (home to The Leisure Society and Sons of Noel and Adrian), they are an accomplished live act gaining a reputation for their warm and inspiring performances. Their music is thoughtful, intense and uplifting with a turn in lyrical wit and honesty. The Laish sound falls somewhere between the darkness of Low and the wit and joy of Herman Dune.
