The Dutch Swing College Band
An exciting show from seven of the world’s finest traditional jazz musicians. Two years before the liberation of The Netherlands, the ‘Swing College’ started with furtive rehearsals in the cellars of Amsterdam, and the Dutch Swing College Band was officially launched on Liberation Day, 5th May 1945. Since then the band regularly visits all five continents, including rare but popular visits to the UK. From concerts in Cape Town to festivals in Australia, from galas in Canada to arenas in Germany, from theatres in the UK to film sets in India, from being excellent to being brilliant.
