Young Peoples Introduction to Jazz Improvisation - Moving On
Ages 12-18
John Bowman leads a day for young players who already have some experience of improvisation, and who would like to develop skills playing in a group. The workshop is open to all instrumentalists age 12 and over who have attended a previous introduction workshop or who have improvised in a group before. The workshop will take a closer look at jazz harmony beyond the basic level of the introductory workshop. You need to be familiar with a range of scales and arpreggios on your instrument. Please bring a packed lunch.
